What We Believe
Mission Statement
The Pregnancy Support Clinic is a Christ-centered ministry which advances the sanctity of human life and sexual purity, empowering individuals to make life-affirming choices.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative word
of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord
Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His
vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in
power and glory, We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man,
regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that the salvation
is received through faith in Jesus Christ as savior and lord and not as a result
of good works, We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose
indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good
works. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that
they are saved unto resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the
resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in
our Lord Jesus Christ.
Confidentiality Pledge
I hereby pledge that all information, both client and financial supporter
information, will remain confidential. I will not discuss any information with
anyone except the Executive Director and the Client Services Director(s). I
understand that if I break my pledge, I will no longer be permitted to volunteer
for the Pregnancy Support Clinic of Valdosta.
Purity Pledge
I understand that sex inside a marriage covenant is the best choice for
physical, emotional and spiritual health. Therefore I commit myself to abstain
from sexual activity (if single) until I enter a faithful marriage covenant.
When in a marriage covenant I commit to remaining faithful to my spouse. If at
anytime I stumble in the area of sexual purity, I agree to notify the PSC
Director. I acknowledge my two options if that occurs are to submit to
accountability measures or resign as volunteer or staff member.

Standards
Whether employee, board member or volunteer, everyone associated with the Pregnancy Support Clinic of Valdosta is expected to adhere to a standard of Godliness. We require all those affiliated with our ministry to sign our Statement of Faith and our Statement of Principal.
Statement of Principal
The PSC is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His church. Therefore, the PSC, embodied in its volunteers, is committed to presenting the Gospel of our Lord to women with crisis pregnancies; both in word and deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as PSC board members, directors and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.
The PSC is committed to providing clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion.
The PSC is committed to integrity in dealing with clients, earning their trust and providing promised information and services. The PSC denounces any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with clients.
The PSC is committed to assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God's people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope, and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.
The PSC does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color national origin, age or marital status of its clients.
The PSC does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortion or abortifacients.
The PSC offers assistance free of charge at all times.
The PSC is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women, and of the fact that abortion only compounds human need rather than resolving it.
The PSC does not recommend, provide, or refer single women for contraceptives. (Married women seeking contraceptive information should be urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their pastor or physician.)
The PSC recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion, but is not biased toward adoption when compared to other life-saving alternatives. The PSC is independent of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful referral sources. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of the PSC. The PSC neither initiate nor facilitate independent adoptions, though they may refer for independent adoptions in states where it is legal.
